I was a little worried that I wouldn't like it since I think you can never recapture the enthusiasm you feel for your first Dream Home, but I actually LOVE it. I like the decor, colors and increased modernness of the design. And the location is a major plus! I can much better see myself watching a Caribbean sunset that making a mountainside fire. I am, however, a little worried about a few things - 1. Why is there only a queen bed in a huge master suite? 2. What's with the fridge being tucked in the pantry - that's a long trek for milk. 3. Will my guests have to wore the coral shirts in the guest closet?
Having taken the tour and given it a great deal of thought, I have decided ... yes ... I believe I can visit you there and be relatively comfortable. (The green in "my" room is a bit much, but we can negotiate.)
But what is with the third floor being in black and white? Will I be in black and white if I venture upstairs to your inner sanctum?
I haven't yet taken a good look at this house...but I wanted to let you know that I happened upon some of those Martha Stewart Homes in Colorado, not AT ALL that far outside of Denver. They are actually in a very hip and trendy part of the Denver area. You would love it.
First, lovely as the setting looks, I could not abide the bugs, humidity, hurricanes, and other negatives of Flordia. While I like the patios, colors, and lots of natural light, it seems more like a beach house (which it is) than a full-time residence. A little cramped in places for me. Don't like the fridge in the pantry or the kitchen open to the living room, but like the stove. Dreamy in many ways, but, ultimately, not my dream house.
